About me

My name is Francesco D’Alcamo, I’m 25 years old and I come from a small village in the heart of Sicily, in the province of Enna. It’s the kind of place most people have never heard of, but if you grew up there, you never really forget it.

Today I live in Turin, where in November 2025 I graduated in Business Management, Marketing and Strategy at the University of Turin. I currently work at a consulting firm, and every day brings new challenges that push me to keep learning.

This blog was born from a simple idea: organise what I discover and share it with people who might find it useful. You’ll find practical tips, digital tools I actually use — from Excel to anything that makes work easier — and some travel stories, because exploring new places and stepping out of your comfort zone is something I truly believe in.

Sometimes this will just be my diary — thoughts, experiences, things I’m figuring out along the way. But if something I write turns out to be useful to someone out there, that would mean a lot to me.

I’m not here to teach anyone. I’m just someone who learned early on how to adapt — moving from a tiny village to a big city in northern Italy — and who wants to share that journey.

Welcome to my diary.
